Wisconsin Parental Choice Program

Alhamdulillah, after a long process, the Madinah Academy of Madison now qualifies for the Wisconsin Parental Choice Program, a voucher program that will help parents send their children to the Academy.

To put it simply, parents who apply and get accepted will be able to send their children to Madinah Academy for free. The State of Wisconsin, Choice Program will pay the tuition on the parents behalf, directly to the school. There are three programs: ours is called the Wisconsin Parental Choice Program (WPCP).

Once you complete the online application, you will be asked to provide documentation to support your family’s qualification of the program. That documentation should be sent to Madinah Academy as soon as possible. Choice Program seats for each grade level are limited, so apply now if you qualify!

Qualification Requirements

Qualification will be determined by three different factors: family income, residency, and school enrollment.

Families Annual Income Based On Size

Family Size Maximum Yearly Income
1 $27,478
2 $37,202
3 $46,926
4 $56,650
5 $66,374
6 $76,098

Your Residency

Students must reside in Wisconsin and NOT in the city of Milwaukee or in the Racine Unified School District.

The Students Prior Year Attendance

Unfortunately, the program will not accept students going into 2nd - 6th grade if in 2019 - 2020, the student attended Madinah Academy. It will only accept students in these grade levels if, during 2019 - 2020, they attended public school, went to school in a different state, were home schooled, ar coming from another choice school, or were on the waiting list to go to another choice school.

If you are applying for KG or 1st grade, it does not matter if you went to Madinah Academy 2019 - 2020. You will be able to apply and should be accepted to attend Madinah Academy 2020 - 2021 so long as you meet the income & residency requirements listed above.
