Wisconsin Parental Choice Program

An Islamic Education May Be Within Reach

Madinah Academy of Madison participates in the Wisconsin Parental Choice Program (WPCP), giving eligible families the opportunity to attend MAM without paying private-school tuition.

Through the program, the State of Wisconsin provides funding directly to participating schools on behalf of eligible students. This means qualifying families can choose an education rooted in Islamic faith, strong academics, and character development without tuition being a barrier.

Applications for the 2026–27 school year are open now.

Choice Seats Are Limited

Participation in the Wisconsin Parental Choice Program does not automatically guarantee a seat at Madinah Academy. The number of Choice seats available may be limited by grade.

If you are interested in enrolling your child through Wisconsin Choice, we encourage you to complete your application during the current application period and submit all required documentation promptly.

Could My Child Qualify?

Eligibility for the Wisconsin Parental Choice Program is determined by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) and may depend on factors including:

  • Where your family lives

  • Household income for students who are subject to the program's income requirements

  • Your child's previous school enrollment or Choice participation

  • Age requirements for students entering kindergarten or first grade

Already participating in the Choice Program? Continuing students may have different eligibility requirements than students applying to Choice for the first time.

How to Apply

  • Choice applications are submitted through the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction's online application system—not directly through Madinah Academy.

    When selecting a school, choose Madinah Academy of Madison.

  • DPI will send confirmation and important information to the email address you use for your application. Be sure to use an email address you check regularly.

  • After completing your online application, follow the instructions you receive regarding supporting documentation. Required documents may include proof of residency and, when applicable, documentation related to income eligibility.

    Submit any documents requested by Madinah Academy promptly so that we can complete the verification process.

  • Madinah Academy will communicate with families regarding the status of their application and next steps in the enrollment process.
