The Board of Directors is responsible for developing plans and policies that ensure the success of the school. The Directors are also responsible for working with the principal of the school to oversee day-to-day needs and operations.

Directors are elected every two (2) years and serve four (4) year terms. The next election will be in the Spring of 2027. At this time, roughly half of the Board of Director seats will be up for election.

The Trustees ensure Madinah Academy of Madison remains true to its Islamic education mission. The Trustees support the Board of Directors in an advisory capacity and vote alongside the Board of Directors on major financial decisions (e.g. purchasing a building).
